The Stanley Cup(kake)

Was it the largest home hockey crowd in Flyers history - or something else that spurred the team to 4-3 overtime win?

I got a piece of the Flyers championship finals coverage pie today, shooting the unveiling of a Tastykake replica of the Stanley Cup at a mid-morning Comcast Center pep rally.

Baker Diana Anello (left) and owner Karen Boyd of Bredenbeck's Bakery in Chestnut Hill used over 1,000 pieces of cake, including Tastykake Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes, Butterscotch Krimpets, Chocolate Juniors, and Koffee Kake Juniors.

Was it the largest home crowd in Flyers history - or the inspiration of fine baked goods that spurred the team on to its 4-3 overtime win? "He shoots, he scores - for a case of Tastykakes!"
