Penn State loses top recruit to Buckeyes

Scout.com ranks Schutt a five-star recruit, while rivals.com gave him four stars.
"I think he's extremely happy," his coach at Glenbard West High, Chad Hetlet, told ESPN.com. "He came back (Sunday) from his trip to Ohio State, and he was very impressed with coach Urban Meyer and what his vision was for the program and where he sees Tommy fitting in."
According to ESPN.com, Schutt - listed at 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds - told Penn State co-defensive coordinator Larry Johnson his decision on Monday.
Schutt is the third player to de-committ from Penn State since the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal broke and Joe Paterno was fired in early November. Offensive lineman Joey O'Connor and tight end J.P. Holtz have also de-committed in the past few weeks.
