Three former Penn State stars selected to Pro Bowl

Three former Penn State stars -- Tamba Hali, Cameron Wake and NaVorro Bowman -- have been voted in to the Pro Bowl, which will be held Jan. 27 in Honolulu.

Former Penn State stars Tamba Hali, Cameron Wake and NaVorro Bowman have been voted to participate in the 2013 Pro Bowl.

Hali, a linebacker with the Kansas City Chiefs, and Wake, a defensive end with the Miami Dolphins, were elected to starting berths on the AFC team. It is the second Pro Bowl selection for both players.

Bowman, a linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers, earned his first trip to the Pro Bowl.

Hali, who has nine sacks this season, has started all 109 games for Kansas City since the Chiefs selected him in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft.

Wake ranks fourth in the NFL this season with 15 sacks, and has a career total of 43, the most by any Dolphins player in his first four years with the team.

Bowman is third in the NFL in tackles with 144. He is in his third NFL season.
