Bucks' Brenner Aero lands Boeing contract, will add jobs
Brenner Aerostructures of Bensalem will hire around 20 workers for a new Boeing contract
Brenner Aerostructures, a six-year-old Bensalem firm owned by members of a Bucks County family that's operated a series of metal-manufacturing firms, says it's won a deal to make replacement wing-flaps and 155 other kinds of spare parts for Boeing's KC-135 air tankers over the next three years.The firm, which employs 40, will add an anodizing line and hire an additional 15-25 workers by next Spring, said general manager Michael Porter, after announcing the deal in a news conference with US Rep Patrick Murphy, D-Pa.
