Dell: We'll keep Boomi in Berwyn
Dell Computer buys Berwyn-based Boomi to up
Software-as-a-service cloud-to-device integrator Boomi's 40 employees at its Berwyn headquarters off Bear Hill Road will keep their jobs, a source at the firm confirms.
Boomi founder Bob Moul and venture capital backer FirstMark Capital of New York (which invested $4 million two short years ago) are counting their profits from Dell Computer's purchase of the firm and its AtomSphere integration software today. (For how much? They won't say.)
Not a good sign: Boomi's site crashed on news of the deal.
