'Twitter Man' Frank Eliason to quit Comcast for Citigroup

"A difficult decision" for Eliason; he'll move to Jersey

Frank Eliason, the relentlessly positive blogger and Twitter-er who burnished Comcast's battered customer-service reputation as the Philadelphia cable giant remade itself as a leading Internet access service and multimedia data-voice-video company, is leaving to take a senior job doing much more of the same at Citigroup, the vast but battered multinational bank.

"I will be moving to the Princeton area" from his home near Doylestown, Eliason told me. "I will be working out of NY once I join Citi in August.  I will be at Comcast until July 29." It was, he adds, "a difficult decision."
