More GMAC refugees in new loan ventures
David Creamer and his former top managers at the former GMAC Commercial Mortgage, Horsham, now in business with the FHA as "Witmer Partners"
David Creamer, ex-chairman of GMAC Commercial Mortgage Holding Corp., and his ex-colleagues, ex-President Charles Dunleavy Jr., ex-CFO Wayne Hoch, and ex-General Counsel Robert Schwartz, doing business as Witmer Partners LLC here in suburban Philadelphia, have invested... they won't say how much... in Tavernier Partners, a Tampa mortgage banker headed by ex-GMAC Commercial Mortgage lender Allen Moczul.
"The partnership," the companies said in a joint statement, "will leverage the considerable experience and expertise of both organizations in order to offer clients the best FHA-insured multifamily, senior housing and health care lending..."
As previously noted, GMAC-CM (also f/k/a Capmark) is now Warren Buffett-backed Berkadia Corp., and other GMAC veterans now run firms like Ventras Capital Advisers LLC and Bank of New York Mellon Corp.'s Urdang mortgage group.
