Laura Cantrell Tries On Kitty Wells' Dresses

Country music stylist Laura Cantrell plays the Tin Angel on Friday. It's an early show, with Diana Jones opening. Cantrell's new record is called Kitty Wells Dresses, and it features one song - the title cut - written by Cantrell, coupled with a whole bunch that were originally hits for Wells, who's best known for "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels," and who was known as the Queen of Country Music during her 1950s heyday. Below, a short video in which Cantrell explains the project for your listening pleasure.
