"City of 'Love Train,' Bono asked the crowd of over 67,000 mid-song, along reference to The O'Jays Sound of Philadelphia classic "Where are you going to take U's?"

After following with "I Will Follow," and an early barrage of hits including "Mysterious Ways" and "Magnificent" the Irish frontman paused to make mention of the Eagles, Flyers and cheesesteaks, and added that he and his bandmates were honored "to be in a city where men would rather be hung than give up their mad, crazy idea of America." That idea was then brought home with a heroic version of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" finished off with a snippet of Bruce Springsteen's "Promised Land."
