Wonder Mike, with The Roots

Mayor Michael Nutter did his hip hop, hippie to the hippie, the hip, hip a hop, and you don't stop, rock it to the bang bang boogie routine at his inauguration party at the Convention Center on Monday. The Roots - who were fresh from playing the Winter Classic at Citizen's Bank Park - backed up the Mayor on his trademark version of the the Sugar Hill Gang's "Rapper's Delight," during which he looked disturbingly comfortable on stage. But never fear, concerned public: This afternoon, Nutter announced his "official retirement ... from rapping!" on Twitter.
