Report names Penn, Rutgers grads the 'least dateable' alumni

Three local colleges are home to some of the least dateable alumni in the country, according to a new survey.

The University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers, and Princeton all made the cut in online dating site The Dating Ring's survey of 1,600 users across 7,500 dates. Princeton landed at number 9, Penn at 8, and Rutgers all the way up in the third spot.

On the flip side, though we also had a couple of local schools land on the "most dateable" alumni list—namely Lehigh University and the University of Delaware. U. Delaware topped out at number 6 on the most dateable list, while Lehigh landed at number 2, just behind Colgate. But they're handling the second place designation well, as one Lehigh student indicated to the Daily Mail:

'[Colgate students] take work really seriously but also like to have a good time and I think that's a good balance when you're dating somebody,' said Jackie Kreisberg, from Lehigh University.

Classy, and probably a good illustration of why they landed at number 2. Temple, Drexel, U Arts and the like, however, didn't make the cut on either side. Perhaps because a large majority of the survey's respondents were located in New York. As per Daily Mail:

The survey is not truly representative of the entire country, however. Eighty one percent of those surveyed between March 2013 and September 2014 live in New York City while the other 19 per cent live in San Francisco.

So, basically, what this really means is that New York's (and San Francisco's) dating residents find Princeton, Penn, and Rutgers graduates almost undateable. Which really just might not be that big a loss.
