If you haven't gotten your flu vaccination yet -- "I just haven't gotten around to it" "My doctor's booked" "I don't want to pay $20 to get poked by a needle!" -- we have good news for you:
Montgomery County residents can receive free flu vaccinations in Norristown, Pottstown and Willow Grove. They even offer the needle-free nasal spray variety.
According to county health officials, seasonal flu activity peaks between January and March, so vaccination efforts should continue through February. It takes 1 to 2 weeks to build immunity after getting the vaccine.
