There’s a notice posted on the former McAndrew family property in the 200 block of Holstein Road, Upper Merion Township.
The sign invites neighbors to a May 2 meeting of the township’s Zoning Hearing Board.
Apparently the new owner, listed on the sign as Michael Kraus, has applied for a zoning variance to convert the house into a two-family dwelling.
When the McAndrew family lived there, it was a single family dwelling, but there was a tenant in one section of the house.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Township Building, 175 W. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia.
Last March, Joseph McAndrew, then 23, killed his mother, father and twin brother in the house. We think of them every time we drive by.
