APP ONLY: How Vick's numbers measure up

I was taking a look at Michael Vick's season numbers today.

And it really is staggering how far he's come as a passer.

Consider this: In 71 career starts before this season, Vick had thrown for 250 yards or more a total of six times.

This season alone, he's done it six times.

Vick's thrown for 300 yards or more in three of his last four games. Prior to this season, Vick had two 300-yard games on his resume.

Vick's completing 63.8 percent of his passes and averaging 8.4 yards per attempt. His previous career highs were 56.4% and 7.2  in '04.

As of this writing, Vick trails only Tom Brady with a 105.7 QB rating. But if Brady doesn't deliver a big game against the Jets, Vick will be on top there.

His 8.37 yards per attempt are second to only Philip Rivers.

Vick has completed 38 passes of 20 yards or more. That's the same number as Drew Brees. Vick's done it in 171 attempts; Brees has done it in 337.
