Celek vs. Brooking; Andrews in Omaha?

A few quick links before calling it a night.

If you missed them earlier, here are my observations from today's Eagles practice. And here is the video report.

We've been chronicling the back and forth between Brent Celek and Cowboys linebacker Keith Brooking all offseason.

Brooking fired the first comments in early April, saying the Eagles were predictable and that the Cowboys' defense knew what was coming on every play.

Celek responded, saying he was "irked" by Brooking's comments and that he couldn't wait to play Dallas again.

The guys at 103.3 FM ESPN in Dallas-Fort Worth played Celek's comments back for Brooking, who responded:

"Oh, he'll find me, I promise," Brooking said, per Matt Mosley of ESPN.com. "You can print that one. He won't have to look for me very hard. ...He can jump in the middle of our huddle, if he's that bad."

Celek will have to wait awhile. The Eagles and Cowboys don't meet until Week 14 in Dallas. The two teams square off again in the regular-season finale at the Linc.

* Shawn Andrews has been drafted by the Omaha Nighthawks, per Pro Football Talk. Per PFT, the five-team league is announcing picks in its 12-round draft via Twitter. Andrews was the first pick in the third round.

* Mike Shanahan told reporters Wednesday that the Redskins have made a formal offer to Brian Westbrook.

"We want him to sign with us," Shanahan said, per The Washington Post. "Like I said, it could be some great competition. I really like Brian, what he's done and how he's handled himself. I'm sure he's weighing some options. It's not too far away from home. Any more I can do?"
