Radnor police issue alert for residential burglary

The Radnor Township Police Department issued a crime alert after a residential burglary occurred at a home on Pine Tree Road yesterday, Dec. 5.

Police have issued a crime alert for the Radnor section of Radnor Township as the result of a home burglary on Dec. 5.

Police say the break-in occurred on the 100 block of Pine Tree Road. In a news release, the Radnor Township Police Department said it responded to the residence after the homeowner discovered the burglary.  Police determined someone entered the home by breaking a ground-floor window in the rear of the home.

Police estimate that the burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The release states that the thief or thieves stole two cameras before fleeing.

Radnor Police remind all residents to lock doors and windows before leaving homes or going to sleep, in addition to setting security systems, if available. Police highly recommend residents use security pins if windows must remain open.

Police urge residents with additional information regarding this incident to call the Investigations Unit at 610-688-0503. Residents who observe any other suspicious activity in their neighborhood should dial 9-1-1.
