2015 Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon bib giveaway

Running season in Philadelphia takes off on Saturday, October 31, when thousands of runners will lace up for the Rock 'n' Roll Half-Marathon.

With a little over two weeks to go, bibs are still available, though prices have jumped to $119. Luckily, we've got five free bibs to giveaway for you procrastinators out there. To enter, leave a comment below telling us why you want to run the Rock 'n' Roll Half.*

The largely flat course starts and ends at Eakins Oval in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Competitors will run down the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and around City Hall before heading out towards Kelly Drive. The race turns back towards downtown at the Falls Bridge, with runners traversing MLK Drive before reaching the finish line.

Once the race is complete, runners and their families are invited to attend a free concert right at Eakins Oval, featuring the Gin Blossoms.

New this year, organizers are adding a costume contest to the Halloween-themed race. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costume and the top five winners will receive an entry to the 2016 Rock 'n' Roll Philadelphia Half.

Race weekend kicks off on Thursday, Oct. 29, with a Health & Fitness Expo at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
