It's a well-known fact that runners love swag. Tech-tees, drawstring bags, medals… so many medals. That's why ODDyssey Half Marathon and Students Run Philly Style have teamed up to offer runners a challenge that will earn them some of the coolest swag around.

In one jam-packed weekend, you can run two races and earn three medals as part of the Go Further Challenge. Challenge participants will race the Generation Run 5k on June 13 in the Navy Yard, followed by the ODDyssey Half Marathon on June 14 in Fairmount Park.

"I'm a big proponent of supporting local so when we found out that the Students Run race was moved to the same weekend as ours, it just seemed like the perfect opportunity to start a tradition of having runners participate in multiple events that really highlight our running community," said Carl Ewald, race director of the ODDyssey Half Marathon.

The first 250 runners to register for the challenge will receive, not only both finishers medals, but also an exclusive add-on medal that will fit like a puzzle piece on top of the ODDyssey medal, doubling its size and impact (and bragging rights).

Plus, the post-race parties at both of these events will not disappoint. The 5k will offer a Root Beer Float Garden featuring free Little Baby's Ice Cream and Yards Root Beer for all runners. While Sly Fox Brewing Company is hosting a free beer garden for all adult finishers following the half marathon.

Both the ODDyssey Half Marathon and the Generation Run 5k benefit Students Run Philly Style, whose mission is to transform students' lives through running and mentorship as they train for a full or half marathon. So if the swag didn't sell you, the great cause should seal the deal.

Are you up for the challenge? Registration for the Go Farther Challenge will cost $119 ($35 for 5k + $84 for Half) and opens tomorrow, April 22 at 10 a.m. at
