RUN215 brings back #nightshiftphl on July 19

If you missed the first two #nightshiftphl events, listen up! RUN215 is bringing back its totally awesome late-night fun run on Sunday, July 19.

That's pretty much all of the info I can give you at this point. In true pop-up fashion, the official meeting place and time will be announced only 24 hours before the event so keep an eye on RUN215 social media handles and On The Run for more info as it becomes available.

Jon Lyons, founder of RUN215, shared this sneak peek: "Expect cheesesteaks, soft pretzels, and more to celebrate our impending exploration of South Philly...perhaps I've already said too much..."

The first #nightshiftphl, which debuted on April 1, was a huge hit. The 5K course started at Perch Pub at Locust and Broad Streets and wound through the city with pit stops at three parks. Runners made their way to Washington Square West where Suzanne Allaire had them stop for push-ups and step-ups on benches, then Dilworth Park for squats and lastly, Rittenhouse Square for a few rounds of jumping jacks and never-ending planks. The tour wrapped up at Misconduct Tavern with Southern Tier beer specials for all. The second installment featured some wacky, sing-along-type pit stops on the course (Roxanne burpees, anyone?) and finished at National Mechanics in Old City for an epic night of karaoke.

The run is free; all you have to do is show up! Info at run215.com.
