On Tuesday night Philadelphia Eagles Fletcher Cox, Marcus Smith, Jeremy Maclin, Mark Sanchez, Mallcolm Jenkins (who was sporting a bow tie from his own line - Rock Avenue) and DeMeco Ryans traded in their footballs for a night on the runway to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania. The event was sponsored by law firm Zarwin Baum and held at Boyds in Center City.

In addition to the players, two of their wives, Jamila Ryans and Morissa Jenkins, strutted down the cat walk wearing fashionable outfits accessorized with jewelry provided by Kellmer Jewelers. Guests walked the red carpet into Boyds, took photos at the Step and Repeat next to the Roll Royce parked on the sidewalk. The place was packed with fashionably dressed guests, enjoying cocktails and hor d'oeuvres by B Smith Catering. The crab cakes were my personal favorite.

The fashion show kicked off a little late as the guys were still at practice until 7, but when it did finally get underway the "models" descended the grand staircase at Boyds, walked through the crowd, shaking hands and doing high fives. Then back up the grand staircase they went where they stood for the remainder of the show, giving lots of guests ample time to take photos.

Afterwards players jerseys were auctioned off and the winners had a meet and greet with that player, who signed their item and snapped some photos. It was a really nice event for a great charity that will make a difference in young peoples lives. At the end of the night $45,000 was raised for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
