The 83rd annual Easter Promenade on South Street attracted hundreds of families who paraded down South Street on the Second Street Plaza during one of the city's oldest Easter Traditions. The parade was led by Henri David, wearing one of his signature colorful "sky-high" hats a colorful outfi, followed by the the Freedom Band, lots of Easter bunnies, Mr. and Mrs. Cottontail and many parade-goers dressed in their finest holiday attire.

After the parade, children, adults, families and pets lined-up to walk the stage in hopes of being deemed the city's 'Best Dressed' that day. Councilman Jim Kenney, Independence Visitor Center's Albert Lee, "Top Model" finalist Cory Wade Hindorff, and Krystal Souvanlasy from South Street Headhouse District lead the judging panel on what was one of the most beautiful spring days in quite some time.
