The Valley Youth House hosted their 5th Annual "Always Bet on Youth" Casino night to benefit homeless and foster youth of Pennsylvania on Mar. 14, 2015, at Union Trust in Philadelphia, Pa.

The event was packed, with about 400 friends and supporters of Valley Youth House. Guests enjoyed a delicious spread by Finley Catering and played fun casino games all in support of raising money for the programs at VYH. Their programs offer support, career planning, mentoring, life skills training, and housing and budgeting assistance that enable youth to break the cycle and become productive and successful adults.

Several guests were also honored at the event. Sharmain Matlock-Turner accepted the 2015 Individual Achiever award in her role as President and CEO of the Urban Affairs Coalition. Comcast was honored as the 2015 Community Achiever due to their dedication and support within the Philadelphia community, especially with youth.
