Baseball is an old game built on tradition - yeah, we know.
But it's a game that is now played in a modern world, and while the debate on robot umpires rages on in the deepest subterranean MLB laboratories, every week or so we are given a situation in which baseball embracing a more modern, technological take on its solutions to issues is at least worth a try.
Today, however, MLB commissioner Bud Selig revealed that not only are we not doing those things; but he has yet to wrap his brain around one of 2013's most basic forms of communication.
