IronPigs involved in food fight

Another Friday, another weird voting thing to take part in.

Another Friday, another weird voting thing to take part in.

No, Wayne Simmonds didn't make the cover of NHL '14. The Phillies' uniforms aren't the coolest in baseball. And yeah, the Flyers did win one - but it was one in which only the Flyers were eligible.

So when we learn of another campaign that needs votes, we think... eh. Wouldn't our efforts be better used somewhere elHEY IS THAT ROASTED CORN.

It certainly is. The Lehigh Valley IronPigs' signature concession item, roasted corn, is among the final four of Minor League Baseball's Food Fight, a tournament designed to get MiLB's most scrumptious grub into everybody's brains and then mouths. The 'Pigs are repping the "local legends" division.

The roasted corn will be up against the Durham Bulls' Nuke Dog ("hogs 'n dogs" division), the Gwinnet Braves' Knucksie ("scrupmtious sandwiches" division), and the Toldeo Mud Hens' Fantastic Freeze Sundae ("gut busters" division).

This race is only going to get more heated.

Don't think, just vote.
