Back in November, SportsRadio 94.1 WIP extended its broadcast partnership with the Phillies. Now, the station will give the team’s announcers some additional air time.

Phillies play-by-play announcer Scott Franzke and color analyst Larry Andersen will host a new one-hour show on WIP called The Hot Stove that will look ahead at the team’s coming season.

The show will air every Wednesday in February on WIP from 6 to 7 p.m.
Franzke, entering his 12th season with the Phillies, agreed to a five-year contract extension back in November. "I just can’t imagine doing this job anywhere else at this stage of my career," Franzke said.
CBS Radio has broadcast Phillies games since 2005, with the last five seasons airing on WIP. Franzke and Anderson will once again be joined this season by Jim Jackson.
Live Phillies coverage will begin Feb. 24 during spring training for the team's first game against the New York Yankees in Tampa.
