Radio hosts report that punters and kickers 'aren't NFL players'
ESPN's Mike and Mike in the Morning program, featuring Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic, is usually home to thought-provoking analysis, but this morning featured a rare sweeping generality and conclusion.
Mike & Mike are savaging NFL kickers and punters. "They aren't NFL players." Ouch!
Maybe they should take a look at Pat McAfee's perfect stunner form, or willingness to hit, or remember the picture of the not-NFL player who was everybody's lead story Tuesday morning after the Ravens' 18-16 win.
Or maybe their producer just told them this morning the numbers slipped a bit, so say something broad and incorrect to get people fuming.
