Seahawks flummoxed by Rams' punt return trickery

Not many people were giving the Rams a big chance to pull off a win over the Seahawks on Sunday. But after the play St. Louis pulled off in the second quarter, already with a 14-3 lead, eyebrows began going up in living rooms all over the country.

Punt returner Tavon Austin sold a fake-out so well that half the defense swarmed him, leaving Stedman Bailey - the actual returner, with the the ball and everything - plenty of space to run it back for a touchdown, making it 21-3. Though Seattle would eventually crawl back to within two, the day would in the end belong to the Rams.

The Rams employed their "sinister deception" playbook multiple times on the day, giving themselves a big win and everyone else a reason to actually talk about the Rams.
