John Brue was 4-for-4 with 4 RBIs as Gloucester Catholic beat Clearview, 10-4, in a Tri-County Conference inter-division game on Wednesday.

Brue, a senior first baseman, rapped a two-run triple in the first and had RBI singles in the fifth and sixth.

Brue was in the middle of a six-run rally in the fifth as Gloucester Catholic pulled away from a 3-3 tie.

Senior third baseman Brett Tenuto had two hits and scored three runs for GC (19-4), the No. 4 team in The Top 10.

The Rams could get a lift later this week with the return of senior second baseman Joe Brooks, who has been out since April 18 with a thumb injury.

Senior shortstop Nick DeFrank had three hits, including a pair of doubles, and two RBIs for Clearview (10-8).
