If you're considering buying a waterfront home this season, there are several up for grabs in Egg Harbor Township, which overlook the Great Egg Harbor Bay.
The five townhomes, all in the Anchorage Poynte development, will be auctioned off on Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. through Maxx Spann Real Estate & Auction Co. There are 16 homes in the development, which was completed in 2003.
The homes range from 2,600 square feet to 3,800 square feet and have three to four bedrooms. Each home comes with a 50-foot boat dock.
Bids will begin at $225,000.
According to Bob Dann, COO Of Max Spann, the homes that will be auctioned off were previously owned by a Pennsylvania company who let its employees use them as a perk.
The homes were on the market for about a year before the owner decided to put them up for auction.
The development is a little over an hour drive from Philly, and is close to shore points such as Ocean City and Margate City.
Any one interested in the homes can check them out in person on Saturday, Feb. 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
