Curious to see how former Eagles tackle and outgoing congressman Jon Runyan lives?

On Tuesday, we attended a broker's open house at Runyan's Mount Laurel estate, attended by dozens of Realtors from South Jersey.

Runyan, who played on the Eagles from 2000 to 2008,

. He custom-built the home with his wife, Loretta, in the mid-2000s.

Listing agent Melissa Young of BHHS Fox & Roach said the home is unique to South Jersey for its secluded setting on 23 acres.

Instead of having a basement as a hangout space, the two-term congressman built a great room on the ground floor, which has multiple TVs, a bar, and a lounge area.

The home has five bedroom suites, each one with a large walk-in closet. There are seven full and two half baths.
