What does it cost to rent a one-bedroom in Philadelphia?

We have a thing for good-looking infographics, so it is no surprise that Zumper's latest depiction of rental rates in Philadelphia caught our eye.

For the month of July, the rental-listing agency (and app), reports that the Philadelphia market kept its spot as 12th most expensive city for rentals nationwide. The average price here for a one bedroom comes in at $1,350 a month, and the median price for a two bedroom is $1,400. For comparison, a one bedroom will run you about $3,500 in top market San Francisco. The full listing of national median rents in metro areas is here.

Back at home, Zumper reports that Logan Square is the most expensive spot for renting a one-bedroom apartment. The $1,850 you will likely spend there just beat out the $1,810 in something called "Center City West." Alas, the map does not let us zoom in to determine exactly where the boundaries lie. University City is up there too, with median rents for a solo room at $1,780.
