Souderton's Eric Moyer is working with director Tommy Reid to develop a film from his screenplay "My Little Trainwreck," in which Reid's sister Tara Reid is slated to star.
The project should not be a stretch for Tara Reid (American Pie, The Big Lebowski, Van Wilder) who has had public battles with alcohol, as it centers on a troubled starlet who arrives in a small town and whose handlers hire a local bartender to be her babysitter.
Tommy Reid will direct and produce the film on which Moyer is also a producer. Tommy produced "Kill the Irishman" with Val Kilmer, Christopher Walken, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Vinnie Jones. It's out March 11.
Moyer is the director of "A Halfway House Christmas," which co-starred Robert Romanus, best known for playing Mike Damone in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High."
