Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:

1. Stanley Cup playoffs: The Flyers face the New York Rangers at 7 p.m. tonight in the first game of the playoff series.

2. Temple grad's film: "Sweepstakes," a film produced by Temple graduate Rob Wunder III, who has been quadriplegic since high school, makes its debut tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival. The 15-minute movie tells the story of a woman whose husband becomes incapacitated by a neurological condition.

3. Jihad plot sentencing: A teenager who pleaded guilty in the "Jihad Jane" terror plot case is scheduled to be sentenced today. Federal prosecutors say 17-year-old Mohammad Hassan Khalid agreed to help Colleen "Jihad Jane" LaRose, of Montgomery County, and other extremists he met online.

4. Beach sweep: The environmental group Clean Ocean Action is slated to release the results of its annual New Jersey beach sweep today, highlighting the trash collected from more than 60 beaches across the state.

5. Camden night garden: A new outdoor event, called the Camden Night Garden, is set to highlight Camden musicians and artists at a waterfront festival this evening.
