Here's your daily look at five stories we're following:
1. Same-sex marriage licenses: Montgomery County will begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples today, a week after gay marriage became legal in Pennsylvania. The county began giving licenses to gay couples last summer, before the nuptials were legal, and had to wait for a court to lift a ruling that had halted the licenses.
2. Sandy town hall: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will discuss the state's efforts to recover from Superstorm Sandy at a town hall meeting in Ocean County this afternoon.
3. Traffic court trial: The first witness at the trial of seven judges charged in the alleged Philadelphia Traffic Court ticket-fixing scandal continues testifying today.
4. Obama's foreign policy: A day after President Barack Obama announced his plans to reduce the number of troops in Afghanistan, which is slated to ultimately result in just a small presence at the U.S. Embassy by the end of 2016, the president is expected to further discuss his foreign-policy strategy in a speech at West Point.
5. New newspaper owners: Lewis Katz and H.F. "Gerry" Lenfest won control of the Inquirer, Daily News and Philly.com at a private auction, outbidding a group led by fellow co-owner George Norcross.
