1. Messy commute: A truck spilled shortening on Interstate 76 near 30th Street overnight, and a van with multiple passengers crashed in Northeast Philly early this morning, leading to slow commutes around the city.
2. Details emerging on missing Cleveland women: Three brothers are in custody in disappearances of three Cleveland women a decade ago. As investigators look into why and how the women were taken as teenagers, and how they remained undetected in one home for so long, new details about the suspects are emerging. One of them, 52-year-old Ariel Castro, even helped look for one of the girls.
3. Gun rallies cause havoc for Little League: Competing gun-related rallies are forcing Bucks County Little League to reschedule, move or cancel 20 games slated to be played Saturday. State police are encouraging the league to avoid playing games near the rallies in case any disputes occur.
4. Funeral for Pa. bishop: The funeral for Harrisburg Bishop Joseph McFadden will take place today. McFadden, 65, died of a heart attack last week while attending a meeting in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Archbishop Charles Chaput will preside over today's funeral mass at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church outside Harrisburg.
