2014 NCAA women's basketball tournament TV schedule on ESPN and ESPN2

Here's the complete schedule of games, tip times and broadcasters for this year's NCAA women's basketball tournament.

Here's the complete schedule of games, tip times and broadcasters for this year's NCAA women's basketball tournament.

All games will be shown on ESPN or ESPN2, as well as online via WatchESPN.com. Subregional and regional take place Saturday through Tuesday for the first two weeks of the tournament. The Final Four will take place in Nashville, Tenn., on Sunday, April 6, with the national championship game set for Tuesday, April 8.

The NCAA women's tournament does not use the same East-South-Midwest-West convention for region that the men's tournament does. This year's regional sites are South Bend, Ind.; Louisville, Ky.; Lincoln, Neb.; and Stanford, Calif. Because those sites can be reasonably equated with the same geographical regions as the men, I will use the following designation to note the region in which each team is playing:

East: South Bend, Ind.
South: Louisville, Ky.
Midwest: Lincoln, Neb.
West: Stanford, Calif.

Although the host institutions are set in advance, when a host institution makes the field of 64, it is automatically placed at its home venue.

All times listed are Eastern. Games involving Philadelphia teams are noted in bold.

In the first and second rounds, four games are played simultaneously in a given time slot. All of the Saturday, Monday and Tuesday broadcasts are on ESPN2. On Sunday, time slots are split across ESPN2 and ESPN.

Broadcasts in the first round will be regionalized. Most of the time, you'll get the best game in a given slot, with switching around to other action as warranted. However, if a team in your local market is playing, you'll see that game in its entirety. Coverage will not switch away from a local team's game during live action.

In addition to ESPN2's broadcasts on the opening Saturday, ESPN will carry in full the first-round games of the two teams that finished the regular season undefeated, Notre Dame and Connecticut. In those windows, there will be games on two channels at the same time, with ESPN2 carrying other action.
