Thad Young injury update

Sixers forward Thad Young is available to play tonight against the Celtics in Manchester, N.H., the Sixers said.

Young suffered a left corneal abrasion in the first quarter last night against New Jersey and did not return.

He had four points in 9 minutes before being scratched in the eye during the Sixers' 103-96 loss.

Andre Iguodala and Elton Brand are not expected to play tonight for the Sixers. The team had planned to sit Jodie Meeks last night, but he ended up playing when Young got hurt.
