The red-hot Boston Celtics visit the Sixers tonight.

The Boston Celtics, who have owned the Sixers in recent years, visit the Wells Fargo Center tonight, looking to expand on their 8-game winning streak.

Here are some keys for the Sixers tonight, as they'll be looking to win their sixth-straight at home.

*Show patience in the halfcourt offense. Ideally, the Sixers will get out and run and get some easy baskets. But the Celtics don't allow many of those. During the winning streak, Boston has allowed an average of just 87.3 points a game. When the Sixers are in a halfcourt set, they'll need to make sure to get good shots, not settle for mediocre jumpers.

*Keep Rajon Rondo in front of them at all times on defense. Taking chances against Rondo never seems to work. He can hit the mid-range jumper, drive and either score or dish. Jrue Holiday and company will need to play honest against Rondo on defense.

*Limit the Celtics to to one shot. With Shaquille O'Neal and Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce and Glen Davis down low, Boston is hard to keep off the glass. The Sixers will have to, though, if they hope to pull the upset.

*Don't leave Ray Allen alone. It sounds simple, but the temptation to dig down when the bigger guys have the ball has to be only that, tempting. Allen is still one of the best shooters in the league.

*Keep getting production from the bench. Thad Young has been playing as well, if not better, than anyone on the team and Lou Williams always supplies spark and points. Tonight, they'll need probably need some good minutes from the likes of Andres Nocioni, Evan Turner and even Marreese Speights.
