Bennie Logan, Byron Maxwell out for Eagles; Beau Allen, E.J. Biggers to start

Bennie Logan and Byron Maxwell are both out for the Eagles game on Saturday against the Washington Redskins. The Eagles will also miss wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu, a key special teams.

Logan has a calf injury and Maxwell has a shoulder injury.

Beau Allen will start at nose tackle for the Eagles. E.J. Biggers will start at cornerback. The other inactives are quarterback Thad Lewis, linebacker Steven Means, and offensive linemen Tanner Hawkinson and Barrett Jones.

It's the first time Logan missed a game since he joined the Eagles. The Eagles will maintain a six-man rotation on the defensive line. Brandon Bair is active and will mix in at defensive end with Taylor Hart. Cedric Thornton can move over to nose tackle to spell Allen.

At cornerback, the Eagles have Jaylen Watkins and Denzel Rice as inactives. Maxwell is missing his first game with the Eagles, although he left the Week 4 game against Washington with an injury, as well as last week's game.
