Eagles drop a notch in Domo's NFL rankings

Paul Domowitch's NFL power rankings for Dec. 9:

1. Packers 10-3 (1): If you're counting, Aaron Rodgers now has thrown 34 TD passes and no picks in his last 396 pass attempts at Lambeau.

2. Patriots 10-3 (2): Patriots have allowed just 2.4 yards per carry in their last 5 games.

3. Broncos 10-3 (3): Peyton Manning has thrown multiple interceptions in 4 of the last 6 games. What's up with that?

4. Seahawks 9-4 (7): After some early struggles, the defending Super Bowl champs are once again sponge-worthy.

5. Eagles 9-4 (4): When Shady can't run, the offense doesn't go.

6. Colts 9-4 (5): Andrew Luck had a season-worst 59.8 passer rating in comeback win over Browns.

7. Cowboys 9-4 (6): What's three extra days of rest and a pain-killing shot worth to Tony Romo's aching back? We'll soon find out.

8. Lions 9-4 (8): Matthew Stafford had his first 3-touchdown performance of the season v. Bucs.

9. Cardinals 10-3 (11): They're 10-3 and in first place in their division, so why does it feel like they're 7-6?

10. Ravens 8-5 (16): Defense flexed its muscles with 6-sack performance in win over Dolphins.

11. Bengals 8-4-1 (9): Won 3 in a row on the road only to come home and get their heads handed to them by Ben and the Steelers.

12. Chiefs 7-6 (10): Chiefs haven't scored more than 24 points in a game since before Halloween.

13. Dolphins 7-6 (12): Their playoff hopes hanging by a thread and they're headed to New England. Swell.

14. Chargers 8-5 (13): Philip Rivers has just 6 TD passes in the last 5 games.

15. Bills 7-6 (14): Bills have hung tough, but with Packers and Patriots still on their dance card, the playoffs are out of reach.

16. Steelers 8-5 (20): Roethlisberger's +21 TD-to-INT differential equals the best of his career.

17. Rams 6-7 (17): Looking for a coach of the year candidate? Jeff Fisher deserves some consideration.

18. Texans 7-6 (18): Texans got just 146 snaps and 5 tackles out of No. 1 pick Jadeveon Clowney, but still are 7th in the league points allowed.

19. 49ers 7-6 (15): So much for rallying around your embattled coach. Anybody know the Michigan fight song?

20. Vikings 6-7 (21): Finishing .500 without Adrian Peterson and with a rookie QB is a major accomplishment.

21. Falcons 5-8 (22): Played Packers tough in Lambeau.

22. Panthers 4-8-1 (26): Cam Newton's 114.0 passer rating v. Saints was his highest since Week 15 of last season.

23. Browns 7-6 (23): Brian Hoyer has 1 TD and 8 interceptions in the last 5 games.

24. Giants 4-9 (25): Snapped a 7-game losing skid with 29-point win over Titans.

25. Bears 5-8 (24): Jay Cutler isn't their only problem. They've given up 27 or more points in 7 of their last 10 games.

26. Saints 5-8 (19): Help wanted: NFC South team looking for defensive coordinator who can hold teams under 30 points.

27. Jaguars 2-11 (27): Well, at least Blake Bortles got a season of on-the-job training.

28. Jets 2-11 (29): Sexy Rexy is coming soon to a network studio show near you.

29. Raiders 2-11 (32): 31st in scoring, 32nd in total offense, 100th in hope for the future.

30. Bucs 2-11 (28): The good news is 6 of their 11 losses have been by 6 points or less. The bad news: everything else.

31. Titans 2-11 (30): Have lost their last 3 games by a combined 72 points.

32. Washington 3-10 (31): I forget. Is it Jay Gruden who wants RG3 gone, or is it RG3 who wants Jay Gruden gone?
