The Eagles traded the 22nd pick to the Browns in exchange for first (26th overall) and third round (83rd overall) picks. The Browns selected Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M.

The Eagles then selected Marcus Smith, outside linebacker from Louisville, with the 26th pick they acquired from the Browns.
