Wolff, Vandervelde inactive for Eagles

Safety Earl Wolff, who was not as satisfied about the status of his right knee as coaches seemed to be, is inactive tonight. Ditto backup center Julian Vandervelde (back).

ARLINGTON, Tx. -- Eagles safety Earl Wolff, who returned last week from a knee injury that had sidelined him since Nov. 10, is inactive tonight after tweaking the knee against the Bears.

That probably means Patrick Chung and Kurt Coleman alternating at one safety spot. Also inactive is backup center Julian Vandervelde (back), which makes rookie offensive lineman Matt Tobin active. Evan Mathis probably is the de facto backup center.

Also inactive are QB Matt Barkley, safety Colt Anderson (knee), corner Curtis Marsh, running back Matthew Tucker and offensive lineman Dennis Kelly.
