Five things to know about the Flyers

SUNRISE, Fla. _ Five things to know about the Flyers as they face host Florida on Tuesday night.

1. Defenseman Michael Del Zotto is being benched and replaced by Andrew MacDonald, who will be paired with Shayne Gostisbehere. Coach Dave Hakstol has not been happy with Del Zotto's play recently.

2. Steve Mason (4-6-3, 3.12 GAA, .886 save percentage)  will oppose Florida's Roberto Luongo (7-5, 2.24, .923).

3. The teams are going in different directions. The Flyers have lost five of their last seven, and the Panthers have won four of their last five.

4. Gostisbehere grew up in nearby Margate, Fla., and he will have numerous friends and relatives at the game. Growing up, he used to attend Panthers games with his grandfather.

5. Winger Dale Weise, who signed a four-year, $9.4 million contract in the summer, is still seeking his first goal as a Flyer. He has two assists in 15 games. Weise scored 14 goals last season.
