We profiled most of these candidates in detail in Saturday's paper, but strongly believe the Flyers will go outside of the organization for their next hire, seemingly making John Stevens and Kevin Dineen longshots. Stevens is also already the heir apparent to Darryl Sutter in Los Angeles.
Here are Bovada's odds:
Todd McLellan - 9/4
Dan Bylsma - 4/1
Mike Babcock - 5/1
Benoit Groulx - 13/2
Kevin Dineen - 13/2
Peter DeBoer - 13/2
Guy Boucher - 13/2
John Stevens - 9/1
Jeff Blashill - 9/1
Bovada said odds for other candidates could be provided "upon request." Given that Ron Hextall said the Flyers would have a "hell of a lot" of candidates on the list, that might be an interesting approach. Other names to consider: Paul MacLean, Claude Julien, Davis Payne and Travis Green.
