Rosenberg has a concussion

Lehigh Valley righthander B.J. Rosenberg, who was hit in the head with a line drive in Monday's 4-2 loss in 11 innings to visiting Pawtucket, has suffered a concussion.

A team official said that Rosenberg doesn't have any side effects and will have further evaluation.

The team also said it should have a better idea in a day or two how much time Rosenberg will miss.

After the game, Rosenberg said, "I feel fine."

He also termed it "nothing serious" but the extent should soon be known.
