Jerad Eickhoff's dominant first week in the Phillies system and Andrew Knapp's torrid stretch were both rewarded on Monday.

Eickhoff, a righthanded pitcher at triple-A Lehigh Valley, was named the International League's pitcher of the week. Knapp, double-A Reading's catcher, was named the Eastern League's player of the week.

The 25-year-old Eickhoff has allowed one run in his two starts since being acquired from Texas as part of the Cole Hamels trade. He pitched eight scoreless innings on Sunday, allowing five hits and striking out four. Eickhoff has a 3.81 ERA in 20 starts this season at triple A. He started the year at double A, before Texas promoted him after a pair of starts.
