Jesse Biddle optioned to minor-league camp

Phillies left handed pitcher Jesse Biddle was one of six players sent to minor league camp on Monday morning.

The 23-year-old from Mt. Airy pitched two scoreless innings on Friday for his final outing. Demoting him to minor-league camp will allow Biddle to pitch more often. Also joining him are right handers Adam Morgan, Ethan Martin, and Sean O'Sullivan, catcher John Hester and outfielder Aaron Altherr.
