CLEARWATER, Fla. --- Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez left Tuesday's Grapefruit League game against the Detroit Tigers with a right knee contusion.
The Cuban righthander sustained the contusion in the third inning when taking a Jose Iglesias line drive off his leg. He struggled before exiting, allowing three runs on five hits in his two innings of work. He allowed a two-run home run to Tigers centerfielder Daniel Fields in the second inning.
Seth Rosin replaced Gonzalez with no outs in the third.
