Phillies, Velasquez head to Bradenton

CLEARWATER, Fla. — The Phillies make their first of many trips across the Sunshine Skyway with a game at Bradenton against Pittsburgh this afternoon. Vincent Velasquez, who threw hard but was hit equally hard in his first Grapefruit League start, will pitch for the Phillies.

Andres Blanco, sidelined with a shoulder injury, is back in the lineup for the Phillies.
