Top prospect Crawford sidelined with injury

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Shortstop J.P. Crawford, the Phillies' top prospect, sustained a left oblique strain and will be sidelined four-to-six weeks.

Crawford, 20, was expected to start this season in either single-A Clearwater or double-A Reading. He hit .275 with seven doubles, eight home runs and 29 RBIs in 63 games with Clearwater to finish last season.
